Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach holds an annual, fundraising event known as Feeding The Soul Of The City. This event's primary goal is to raise money to support those in need and celebrate volunteers & donors within the Lincoln, Nebraska community . Matt Talbot's focuses on providing for individuals in need by serving two meals a day with the help of volunteers, assist individuals overcome homelessness, and addressing & providing resources for addictions.

Each year, they utilize Pantone's Color of the Year across their branding for their Feeding the Soul of the City event. 2023's Pantone color that was utilized was Viva Magenta.

Utilizing Viva Pink and their brand color, Orange, a playful, friendly, and welcoming theme was implimented across all components with the end goal to fundraise more money than the previous years to ensure the ability to continue helping the Lincoln community.
